Emrić, Gajić and Mijić in the jury for Best Camera
The Mediterranean Film Festival also awards the prize sponsored by the Association of Cinematographers in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the members of the Association choose the best documentaries for this award. All the films from the competition program are competing for the award, which is titled Best Camera, with the signature of ASBH.
The jury for the Best Camera are cinematographers Eldar Emrić, Draško Gajić, and Vedrana Mijić.
Emrić works as a cinematographer for Associated Press Television and on feature films, series, and documentaries. Draško Gajić has an extensive work experience as a TV cinematographer, who has been awarded at domestic and international film festivals in the category of documentary film and has established himself as documentary film cinematographer. Vedrana Mijić is a television cinematographer working at BiH Radio-television where she has been dedicated to perfecting her professional skills for almost 20 years, filming documentaries and reportages for the desks at FTV and BHT1 television.
Eldar Emrić
Cinematographer born in Maglaj in 1966. He studied film and TV photography at the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb and he has worked as cinematographer for the Associated Press Television since 1994. Besides his permanent work at AP, Emrić also works as the director of photography on feature films, series and documentaries. He is currently the president of the Association of Cinematographers in Bosnia and Herzegovina ASBH and is a member of the IMAGO International Federation of Cinematographers, as well as a member of the jury of several festivals in Europe and the region. He has been awarded at domestic and international film festivals.
Draško Gajić
Cinematographer born in 1975 in Banja Luka. He works at the Art Academy of the Banja Luka University as a full professor on the camera course - the field of photography. He has an extensive work experience as a TV cinematographer, working on numerous projects at RTRS, in documentary, educational and cultural programs. As a cinematographer, he has also worked for many production companies. He has attended and led numerous trainings and workshops in the field of photography and artistic lighting, both in the country and abroad. Draško has been awarded at domestic and international film festivals in the category of documentary film and has established himself as documentary film cinematographer. He is a member of the Association of Cinematographers in Bosnia and Herzegovina ASBH and the IMAGO International Federation of Cinematographers.
Vedrana Mijić
Cinematographer born in Sarajevo in 1979. She replaced the study of artistic photography at the City Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, Belgium, by full-time employment at the filming department of the Radio television of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo, where she has been dedicated to perfecting her professional skills for almost 20 years by shooting documentaries and reportages for the deskss of documentary, cultural, educational, entertainment and information programs at FTV and BHT1 television. She often collaborates with independent authors and production companies in BiH and abroad, working on various projects, shooting documentaries, music and advertising videos, as well as with students of the Academy of Performing Arts in Sarajevo, with whom she shot several award-winning short films. She is a member of the Association of Cinematographers in Bosnia and Herzegovina ASBH and the IMAGO International Federation of Cinematographers.
