Vištica, Zupe and Obrdalj choose the best short documentary
OrnelaVištica, Igor Zupe and Karmen Obrdalj are the members of the Jury at the 24th MFF for the short documentary competition. 

Ornela Vištica is a theatre, film and television actress from Mostar and currently is a member of the Kerempuh Satirical Theater in Zagreb. Igor Zupe is a director of artistic and documentary films about music and art whose films have been screened in renowned international galleries and museums. Karmen Obrdalj is a director who has made six short feature films and one short documentary film. She is the author of the film Speedy that is having its premiere screening at the Mediterranean Film Festival.  

The jury in this composition chooses the best author from the category of the short documentary competition and awards the MFF projector 'Best Short'.

OrnelaVištica
Ornela Vištica is a theatre, film and television actress from Mostar. She graduated acting from the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb. Since 2016, she has been a permanent member of the Kerempuh Satirical Theater in Zagreb. She is known for her roles in series ‘Larin izbor’, ‘Vatre Ivanjske’, ‘Pogrešan čovjek’, ‘Dragi susjedi’, ‘Metropolitanci’, ‘Love lies and records’ and movies ‘The Reflection’ and ‘Mrtve ribe’. She is currently completing her studies in International Relations and Diplomacy at the International Libertas University in Zagreb.

Igor Zupe
Igor Zupe was born in Murska Sobota, Slovenia and graduated in film and television direction at the Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television in Ljubljana. In his career he has worked as a director of artistic and documentary films about music and art (Neue Slowenische Kunst, Irwin, Laibach, Pankrti), also directing music videos, music television shows, television series, ads and computer animations. In addition to cinematographic, television and festival projections, his films have also been screened in renowned international galleries and museums. 

Karmen Obrdalj
Karmen Obrdalj was born in Split. Currently, she is a full-time student at master studies of film and TV direction at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade. She has created six student films, one student documentary film and two music videos. Her documentary “Why is Mom Always Crying?” has been screened at over 50 festivals worldwide and has won thirteen awards. In 2021, her short feature film "When the Morning Dawns" was awarded at the festival "Balkan Beyond Borders" with the prize for the best film, and a Special jury mention at the festival in Herceg Novi. As an assistant director, she worked on the series "Hotel Balkan". In 2022, she made the documentary film "Speedy", which will have its premiere at the Mediterranean Film Festival. In the National Theatre in Mostar, she directs the play "Perzeide", authored by Emina Kovačević. She is currently working on the post-production of the short feature film "Bullet in the Rifle", which is her master's thesis.
