The Jury for the Best Camera
The Mediterranean Film Festival is going to award one more prize for the first time and it is going to be sponsored by the Association of Cinematographers in Bosnia and Herzegovina (ASBH), and the best will be awarded by the members of the Association. All the films from the competition program will be in the competition for the award, which will be titled Best Camera with the signature of ASBH.
The Jury for the best camera is composed of cinematographers Mustafa Mustafić, Antoni Ćorić and Pero Pavlović.
Mustafa Mustafić is the president of the Association of Cinematographers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the winner of numerous awards and recognitions. Antoni Ćorić is the head of the technical department of the Mediterranean Film Festival, and member of the Association of Cinematographers in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Pero Pavlović is the cinematographer and director of several short documentaries and feature films, some of which won awards at various film festivals. He is one of the founders and president of the Assembly of the Association of Cinematographers in B&H.
The jury in this composition chooses the MFF Best Camera among the twenty films in the competition programs.
Mustafa Mustafić
Mustafa Mustafić was born in Sarajevo in 1942. In the early 1960s, he became a member of the Rijeć mladih film club and the Sarajevo Film Club. He studied at the Academy of Film Arts in Zagreb, and became a member of the Association of Film Workers in 1965. From 1969 to 1979, he worked as a cameraman at Television Sarajevo. In 1980, he started working again as an independent film worker and remained in that status until his retirement. For several years he worked as a lecturer of film photography for directing students at the Academy of Performing Arts in Sarajevo. Today, he occasionally makes author's documentaries and teaches camera at the Sarajevo Film Academy. He is the president of the Association of Cinematographers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the winner of numerous awards and recognitions.
Antoni Ćorić
Antoni Ćorić was born in Mostar in 1971, where he graduated computer sciences from the University of Mostar. He started his engagement with video and film more intensively in 1992 with the opening of the HRT correspondent office in Široki Brijeg. He worked as a cinematographer, editor, sound recordist, assistant director, and worked as an external associate cinematographer for several foreign TV companies. He is the head of the technical department of the Mediterranean Film Festival, and member of the Association of Cinematographers in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Pero Pavlović
Pero Pavlović was born in Banja Luka in 1980. He completed his basic studies at the Academy of Arts in Banja Luka, and his Master's degree in Belgrade, at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts, at the Department of Camera. He shot and directed several short documentaries and feature films, some of which won awards at film festivals. He is one of the founders and president of the Assembly of the Association of Cinematographers in Bosnia and Herzegovina. From 2002 to 2012, he worked for Radio and Television of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BHRT) as a leading cameraman, and is currently employed at Aljazeera Balkans television, as a cameraman and editor.
