We find a person that takes care of the visual dimension of an audiovisual work in the profession of cinematographer or director of photography.  This person is the co-author of the film and the director's first associate, who in their own way implements the director's ideas, creates the atmosphere and turns the script into a visual whole in order to achieve the best possible communication with the audience.

When it comes to a documentary film, the cinematographer is often the author of the film, and therefore we believe that such an award at our documentary festival is necessary and welcome.

The award, which will be sponsored by the Association of Cinematographers in Bosnia and Herzegovina (ASBH), will be awarded by the members of the Association who will also be the jury. All the films from the competition program will be in the competition for the award, which will be titled BEST CAMERA with the signature of ASBH.

The Association of Cinematographers in Bosnia and Herzegovina (ASBH) is an association of professional film and television workers who belong to the camera sector. It was founded in 2010 and has been working in the area of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The goals of the association are developing cooperation within the profession, improving conditions and quality of work, preserving film professions and promoting the film art. The Association of Cinematographers has been a member of the International Federation of Cinematographers IMAGO since 2013.
