Documentary 'People that Planted Trees' at film festival in Paris
The film “People that Planted Trees” directed by Zdenko Jurilj and produced by Kadar from Široki Brijeg will be screened in the competition program of the SEE Film Festival in Paris (Southeast European Film Festival).
This is an international film festival which has films from the 15 countries of Southeast Europe in competition and which is going to be held from 2 to 8 June 2021 in the online edition. The festival shows a selection of feature, short, documentary and animated films, thus presenting the best of current film production from Southeast Europe.
The film was created according to Josip Mlakić’s script and shows the lives of the two fighters suffering from the PTSD who fought on two different sides during the war.
“People Who Planted Trees” premiered at the 2019 Mediterranean Film Festival and has been screened at several festivals at home and abroad.
