21st Mediterranean Film Festival, one of the most important film events in B&H and the region, will be held from August 19 to 22 in an online edition. Although this year's MFF is deprived of festival socialising and magic due to circumstances, the organizers will make sure that virtual visitors are not deprived of quality film contents.

Twenty documentary films compete in the official program - ten feature and ten short documentaries. The festival selector Zdravko Mustać chose excellent works, some of which have already won awards at big festivals, and some of them are going to have their premiere screenings at MFF.

In addition to films from the competition, films from the 'In Focus' programme are also going to be available for the virtual visitors, as well as the masterpieces of B&H cinematography, which are going to be presented in the off-program 'Film Centre Sarajevo'.

The films made in last year's festival workshop MFF School - 'Dvica' and the documentary 'Usput' are going to have their digital premiere, on Wednesday, August 19, during the opening of the virtual festival. The four days of the festival will also be an opportunity for surprise films that the MFF will present to its audience.

We are also offering some of the best documentary films from previous festivals to film enthusiasts, from Wednesday August 19, in the video library, in cooperation with HT Eronet through the HOME.TV platform.

We remind you that two three-member international juries will decide on the awards for the best feature documentary in the Mediterranean, the Grand Prix of the festival sponsored by HT Eronet, and the Best Short for the best short film sponsored by Podravka.

All the films will be screened through a digital platform on the official festival website www.mff.ba, where you can also find detailed instructions on how to register to watch the films for free. Note that you will be able to watch the films for four days, from August 19 to 22, at any time.
