Burnać, Roščić and Moravec choose the Festival's Grand Prix
Bojana Burnać, Ivana Roščić and Dušan Moravec are the members of the jury of the 21stMediterranean Film Festival for the feature documentary competition.
Bojana Burnać is a director of photography and the first female DOP in the history of Croatian cinematography who made a feature-length narrative film. Dušan Moravec is the author of more than 25 documentaries, which have been screened at various festivals around the world. Ivana Roščić is a Croatian actress who is a member of the ensemble of GDK Gavella theatre, in which she has performed in about twenty plays so far. Her film debut was in 2014, playing a part in the film “A Wonderful Night in Split”.
BOJANA BURNAĆ
Bojana Burnać was born 1981 in Sisak, and lives in Zagreb. She graduated from the Academy of Dramatic Arts, Department of Cinematography in Zagreb. She is a director of photography of fiction, documentary and experimental films, feature and short films. She is first female DOP in the history of Croatian cinematography who made a feature-length narrative film. Documentary film “My Life without Air” is her directing debut. Her films were screened and awarded at the most prestigious festivals around the world, such as Cannes, Karlovy Vari, Hot Docs, Rotterdam, American Documentary Film Fetsival, Dokufest and many others.
IVANA ROŠČIĆ
Ivana Roščić was born in 1978 in Zagreb. She graduated from the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb. She has been a member of the ensemble of GDK Gavella theatre since September 2007, in which she has performed in about twenty plays so far. Her film debut was in 2014, playing a part in the film “A Wonderful Night in Split. After this she had roles in films “I Love You”, “Pušća Bistra”, “True Miracle”, “Bastion”, “Obsession”, “A Stranger” and “Stories from the Chestnut Woods”. Together with her colleagues Goran Bogdan, Danilo Šerbedžija and Jadran Puharić, she founded the rock band "Luni Megumi".
DUŠAN MORAVEC
Dušan Moravec is the author of more than 25 documentaries, which he made for the national TVSLO and some other independent producers. His films have been screened at various festivals around the world, some of which were awarded. He has been working on film for the last 20 years, and before that he was a journalist and a member of the punk band Kuzle.
The jury in this composition chooses the best author in the category of feature documentary film and awards the MFF projector 'Grand Prix' – sponsored by HT Eronet.
