Films from the competition programme ‘Woman my Mother’ directed by Victor Candella from Spain and ‘To the Four Winds’ directed by Michel Toesca from France are on the programme of the last day of the 20 Mediterranean Film Festival from 5 p.m. in Borak cinema.

Along with 'Footstep', a documentary directed by Turkish director Haydar Demirtas, the competition program of the festival from 7 p.m. will be closed by the world premiere of French film 'Foreign Volunteers in the Hell of Al-Raqqa' directed by Pedro Brito de Fonesco and Paul Moreira.

The morning programme MFF Fora will screen Disney’s ‘Toy Story 4’, while the film ‘Dioecesi Banialucensis Golgotha’ directed by Vinko Laštro will be screened within the programme ‘War Traces’ at 4 p.m.

The presentation of the book ‘Scents of the film tape’ written by cinematographer Mustafa Mustafić is taking place at 11 a.m. in the National library in Široki Brijeg. The book is a testimony about extraordinary dedication to profession that wasn’t just a job, but also a way of life.

The ceremony of awarding the best films is on the schedule at 9 p.m. in the Open air cinema at the festival square, when we shall also screen two short films created within the MFF workshop that was made in the past few weeks by the high school students, participants of the workshop.

The international jury decides on the best works at MFF in two categories – best feature documentary and best short. Besides the six members of the jury that will decide on the winners of the 20th Mediterranean Film Festival and award the Grand Prix MFF Projector sponsored by Podravka and second prize Best Short MFF Projector, the audience traditionally decides on the third prize and awards the MFF Audience award sponsored by HT Eronet. 

This year's Mediterranean Film Festival, after the awards ceremony, will be closed by Quentin Tarantino's feature film, 'Once Upon a Time ... in Hollywood'.
