The best cinematographers in BiH awarded
The Association of cinematographers of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the first time awarded prizes for the best ones in six categories.
Erol Zubčević won the award for the best cinematographer in the category of feature film for his film ‘Never Leave Me’, Dragan Radetić and Saša Petković for the serial ‘Meat’ in the category of serials, Amel Đikoli is the best cinematographer in the category of documentary film, the award was for the work on the documentary ‘Scream for me Sarajevo’, and Eldar Emrić won the award for the short film ‘Breath’.
Admir Švrakić won the award for the best music video cinematographer for his work on the Helem Neise band video ‘Bosnia’ and Faris Dobrača for the BH Telecom commercial ‘Moja TV kao nikad do sad’. Gafer Safet Kutlovac won a special award for cooperation with the camera sector. The president of the Association Mustafa Mustafić said that this award would serve to highlight the best works in this profession. “My colleagues sent their best works, which we watched and voted for”, said Mustafić. “The works we saw certify that there are excellent cinematographers among us”.
The Association of Cinematographers of BiH announced that the winners in categories of feature film, documentary film and series are the Association’s candidates for IMAGO Awards which will take place in Belgrade in March. Special ASBH acknowledgements were awarded to the producer Đorđe Vranješ, the president of Serbian Cinematographers Association SAS and to a member of the international association IMAGO Predrag Bambić. The Association of Cinematographers of BiH has existed since 2010 and gathers directors of photography, cinematographers, lighting operators and master of stage techniques.
