Coco and Leo da Vinci for kids, HBO for grownups
MFF Fora, the youngest program of the Mediterranean Film Festival, this year offers screenings of the films ‘Coco’ and ‘Leo da Vinci: Mission Mona Lisa’ to the youngest audience.

'Coco' is a magical adventurous comedy placed in Mexico, where it reveals us the incredible and fantastic Land of the Dead, glorifying our families and the tradition that goes beyond the time, as well as the way that it shapes us, connects and directs to follow our dreams. This is the film from the author of the animated hits ‘Toy Story’ and ‘Finding Nemo’, which has broken all the records in the first ten days of screening and became one of the biggest animated cinema hits with the 27 million dollars profit.

'Leo da Vinci’ is Italian animated film about young Leo da Vinci who is struggling with his inventions. Though many consider them to be useless, they are helping him to save the estate of his sweetheart Lisa from a greedy nobleman. The true value of his inventions is shown through a series of fun and playful events.

As a part of the OFF Program, in partnership with HBO Adria, we will present the award-winning documentary film ‘When the War Comes’, directed by Jan Gebert.

In Slovakia, a paramilitary group is recruiting hundreds of teenage members with the silent approval of the authorities. The group’s goal is simple – to create a model totalitarian community based on isolation and fear.
