Second workshop of the Operation Cinema held in Široki Brijeg
Operation Cinema, travelling project of the Obala Art Centre and Sarajevo Film Festival, in cooperation and with the mentorship of the Foundation 787, this year too initiated the cycle of educational workshops for young people.
After the first cycle of workshops held at the end of January in Sarajevo, last weekend 10 participants from Tomislavgrad, Široki Brijeg, Zenica, Ugljevik, Žepče, Bosanska Krupa and Sarajevo gathered in Široki Brijeg, where they successfully completed the second cycle of workshops on the development of skills and the basics of entrepreneurship.
The participants of the workshop were: Ana Mikulić, Dino Brljevac, Dragan Vuković, Ivan Majić, Marija Crnac, Marina Tomić, Mićo Matić, Slavica Kraljević, Sumejja Spahović, Tarik Halkić, and the lecturers were Irma Zulić, Dajana Džindo i Goran Dodig.
This year's workshops are promoting social activism and entrepreneurial culture among young people with the focus on developing the participants’ knowledge and skills needed for building a proactive attitude and participation in socio-economic and cultural activities in Bosnia and Herzegovina. After Sarajevo and Široki Brijeg there will be one more workshop in Ugljevik (March 31st to April 2nd 2017).
The aim of this education and activities is creation of a network of young people who, as a new generation of local activists and partners, and with the help of the creative industry, would increase the impact of activities in the local community, and enable the establishment of a more active youth programs. The realization of the workshop in Široki Brijeg was supported by the Mediterranean Film Festival.
