Within the festival there is also the School of Film Culture with relevant lecturers, which is supported by the Embassy of the United States of America in BH.
Minister Adil Osmanović said that the Ministry of Civil Affairs recognizes the importance of the Festival for the region of Herzegovina and the entire BH, so the project of Mediterranean Film Festival is supported by the grant funds allocated by this Ministry.
“We are aware of the fact that these funds are not enough, but having in mind great needs in the field of culture, as well as the importance of the projects implemented, we are making maximum efforts to help the most significant events and institutions”, said Minister Osmanović.
He specially emphasised the fact that the activities of Mediterranean Film Festival were recognized within the European Union programs and expressed his expectation that the resources the cultural workers in BH withdraw from the European funds will justify the entry tickets that the state pays for participation in the programs in the field of culture and audiovisual arts.
