Submit your film for the 17th MFF
Tenders are invited for submission of documentary films for the 17th Mediterranean Film Festival that will take place from 24 to 27 August 2016 in Široki Brijeg.The authors from the 22 Mediterranean countries can apply their films for the Competition Program of the 17th MFF until the 20 May 2016. All the details regarding the conditions for applying, as well as the Application Form, can be found on the official web site of the Festival.
MFF divides films in two competition programs – selection of short documentary film lasting up to 30 minutes, and selection of feature length documentary film lasting more than 30 minutes. The festival selector Damir Čučić shall see all the films sent till May 20th, at the latest, and whose applications meet all the necessary conditions.
Six members of international jury that is going to evaluate the films from both selections during the festival shall decide on the best documentaries from the Mediterranean, and the audience shall decide on one award, too.
Besides the Competition program, MFF also screens the world’s most recent documentary works as well as the films of local authors. This year too, MFF will organize film workshops for young people, film quizzes, screenings in the open air and great entertainment at the Festival square in the centre of Široki Brijeg.
