The bidding for the 16th Mediterranean Film Festival (MFF) is in the course and will be opened till 20th May 2015. Within this period, all the authors from the 22 Mediterranean countries can apply their films for the Competition Program of the 16th MFF. The festival selector Damir Čučić shall see all the films sent till May 20th, at the latest, whose applications meet all the necessary conditions. Films that, by the estimation of the Selector, contain the highest quality, aesthetic, artistic and technical values shall enter the Competition Program of the 16th Mediterranean Film Festival. MFF divides films in two competition programs. Short documentaries lasting up to 30 minutes shall compete in one selection, and in the other documentaries that last more than 30 minutes.

Six-member international jury that is going to evaluate the films from both selections during the festival shall decide on the best documentaries from the Mediterranean, and the audience shall decide on one award, too. The festival audience will have the opportunity to see the world’s most recent documentary works, as well as the films of local authors. This year too, MFF organizes film workshops in cooperation with “Outside the Lens”, American movie camp from San Diego. This year's 16th Mediterranean Film Festival shall take place in the period of August 26th till 29th 2015 in Široki Brijeg.
