War film “Number 55”, directed by Kristijan Milić and produced by HRT and the producer Stanislav Babić, will be screened in the program ‘Special Screenings’ at the 15th Mediterranean Film Festival.

For this drama, based on true events about Croatian soldiers that got killed in an ambush in the beginning of the Croatian War of Independence, Milić won the Golden Arena for the best film of this year’s Pula Film Festival and he also won the Golden Arena for directing, while the rest of the film crew won six more Golden Arenas.



Besides the film ‘Number 55’, starring Goran Bogdan, Marko Cindrić, Slaven Knezović... in the program ‘Special Screenings’, we shall also screen the film ‘Autofocus’, directed by Boris Poljak, which shows the St. Nicholas church from the 12th century.
