‘The Festival of the New’, organized by the SB Film team, will be held for the fourth time in Slavonski Brod. Already traditionally, this festival has presented the film works from the ‘Mediterranean Film Festival’.



Besides the winning film from the last year’s MFF “The Garden of Eden”, directed by the Israeli director Ran Tal, the following films will be presented within the retrospective program of the ‘Mediterranean Film Festival’ at the ‘Festival of the New’: Spanish documentaries “Pablo’s Winter” and “Little World”, documentary film directed by Arsen Oremović “Married to the Swiss Franck” and the feature film “Cowboys”, which had its premiere for the BH audience in Široki Berijeg at the 14th MFF. Awarded documentary “The Gangster of Love”, directed by Nebojša Slijepčević, which won the audience award at Mediterranean Film Festival, has the honour of closing the festival.



Besides the above mentioned, this festival, which will be held from the 26th of May till 1st of June, will present 30 films from the region and the neighbouring countries and the novelty of this year’s edition will be the film workshop of the humour and satire that will be conducted by Boris Šiber, editor at BH Television and Nenad Đurić, director from Bosnia and Herzegovina, the author of the comedy “Skies above the Landscape”.
