Anayansi Prado: Your films are good material for American universities

The director and producer from the USA Anayansi Prado held a lecture for film workers of the MC Media and Kadar production in Široki Brijeg , and it was about the idea for a documentary film, production and distribution. The employees of the public television, photographers and the Mediterranean Film Festival team participated at the workshop. Besides the talks, the clips from Anayansi’s films were screened and there was a discussion about them.

Also, the local authors presented their films and they were especially interested in the future of their films in America and what are the distributive channels for documentaries. From her personal experience, Anayansi stressed that the documentaries like these (“3 days” directed by Zdenko Jurilj) are great material for American universities that work on historical themes from the south-eastern Europe. Anayansi held the workshop accompanied with the American attaché for culture and education in B&H Mrs Sunshine Ison. The workshop was held in the organization of the American Embassy in B&H and the Mediterranean Film Festival.
