The ‘In Focus’ programme, for the first time at MFF, brings the best cinematographic works from the Mediterranean countries from the last year. This is a showcase of excellent films, some of which have already achieved success at prestigious film festivals around the world, and some will have premiere screenings in Široki Brijeg.  

'In Focus' is a dynamic and diverse selection of seven films that, in the opinion of Zdravko Mustać, the selector of the festival, have already marked the film year or their time is yet to come. New festival programme will screen ‘Egyptian Misery’ directed by Khaled Khella, film ‘Escalero’ directed by Javier Gomis from Spain, ‘The Dot under the Letter Ba’ by Egyptian director Hana El Rakhawi.



‘Scientific Logbook of New York: Why does New York Keep Smoke Underground’ is the title of the film directed by Spanish director Mar González Ruiza de Larramendi, and the trio Iso Luengo, Jorge Moneo Quintana and Andrea Ballesteros bring the documentary ‘The Interior City’.
