Zdenko Jurilj's Home at ZagrebDox
After several recognitions at festivals around the world, film Home, directed by Zdenko Jurilj, will be screened for the audience in Zagreb at the international documentary film festival ZagrebDox. The film is included in the Focus: New Europe programme. This is a selection of films from eastern European countries that began to join the EU after the fall of the Berlin Wall, and that share a number of common problems: from relations to refugees, through dominant conservative values and the way of understanding democracy and the free market.
The film Home was created in production of Croatian Film Association (HR) and production Kadar from Široki Brijeg (BiH), and last year it was premiered at the Sarajevo Film Festival where it won a special jury award. A total of 125 films in 14 programs will be screened in the ZagrebDox programme. The festival will take place from February 25 to March 4 at Kaptol Boutique Cinema in Zagreb and part of the program from March 2 to 4 in CineStar cinemas in Osijek and Rijeka and CineStar Joker Split.
