‘A Stranger’ is the absolute winner of 60th Pula Film Festival
Bobo Jelčić’s debut feature film ‘A Stranger’ won all the main awards at this jubilee Pula Festival. The jury composed of the director and screenwriter Petar Krelja, producer Stanislav Babić, actress Gordana Gadžić, director of cinematography Slobodan Trninić and director and editor Damir Čučić awarded seven prizes to ‘A Stranger’.
The set designer Mario Ivezić won the Golden Arena, Erol Zupčević for the best camera, Bogdan Diklić for the best leading role actor and Nada Đurevska for the best leading role actress. Bobo Jelčić won two Golden arenas, namely for the best screenplay and direction, and the Big arena for the best film went to the producer Zdenka Gold.
‘A Stranger’ is a film created in co production between Croatia and B&H, and is the first feature film by Bobo Jelčić. Besides the awarded Zdenka Gold from the Croatian production house Spiritus Movens, the co-producers of the film are Tomislav Bubalo and Tomislav Topić from production Kadar, from Široki Brijeg.
B&H audience will be able to see this film at this year’s 14th Mediterranean Film Festival that will take place from August 26th to 31st in Široki Brijeg.
